Welcome and thank you for visiting.
The main body of my photographic work has been the documentation of New York City's Harlem River Bridges. Located between the Bronx and Manhattan, the Harlem River is one of New York City's most historic waterways but remains largely in the shadows of its more famous siblings: the Hudson and East Rivers. Long associated with stories of crime and urban decay, this region of the city is slowly beginning to redefine and free itself of these outdated images. I have been fascinated by this little-known but historic waterway (especially its many bridges) and inspired to tell a story very different than the one that has been told for so long:
Travel is never far from my mind. I have an unbridled wanderlust to explore and immerse myself in places and cultures both near and far and so, I try to hit the road whenever possible.
When it comes to describing both my philosophy and passion for photography, travel, and just life in general, I think Kurt Vonnegut said it best: "I want to stand as close to the edge as I can without going over. Out on the edge you see all the kinds of things you can't see from the center."
Prints are available upon request.
I hope you enjoy my work and please contact me with any inquiries. Thanks for visiting
